Earlier today I PM'd Ampy a detailed idea for a plot I had in mind for DUW. In case Ampy doesn't like my idea, I thought maybe he should hear some of your ideas, so feel free to post them here.

~Also I didn't post this in suggestions, because it's one big thread, whereas users make the threads in the suggestions board. I guess I could've made an announcement asking for threads containing plot ideas in the suggestions board, but I thought this thread would make the forum more tidy.~

Well, we should have some kind of introdution area, for the noobs, it could have a few begining quests, introdution for the class that you are, and a shop for that specific class. Also some basic monsters, that scale to your level

o.o I don't think that's really part of the plot though . . .

And I'm sure Ampy was planning on having an introductory level like every MMO has.

heres my thought

Intro
you choose wheter ur reputation shall start in the future, present, or past

Part 1 (after intro stuff)
the world is torn in 2. One side the ancient past. And the other the Future. but there is a hidden world in the middle that you learn of in this section, the world of the present. (i will pm ampy the details of how to elad up to it and stuff when i get an idea how to lead up to it in a more easier to understanding way)


Part 2
(comming soon, still thinking about wat to add)

The world being torn in two actually is a good idea, but it'd be hard to travel across the two halves and communicate, wouldn't it?

nope, neither of u get what i mean.
this is the picture of the world (the left is past, middle is present, right is future)


in the areas between the time eras, are purple beams, just touching one barely jumps u into the era on the other side of the beam

Oh, I thought you meant physically split into two, as in they become two different planets, and in the empty space in between is another realm.

yep, you get it, but you are not limited to one faction, you can be in all factions, but ur main faction is the faction you chose in the intro

okay
-first off, if they have all advantages and all weaknesses, its pretty much an easy fight for us, we can sue one element and it will always hit high.
-second off, the elements are not truly called that way, for example, fire is really pyro, heres a list of what they really are, also there are truly 4 elements, the 4 true elements that make the other elements are in capital letters, also some of them aren't even elemnts:
FIRE - PYRO
Electrcitiy - energy
WATER - HYDRO
EARTH - GEO
WIND - AERO
Metal- (not an element)
Light- (creater of fire and earth)
Darkness- (creater of wind and water)

Really only 4 elements? If you read the plot well, you would have seen that the main point of the plot is traveling the planet in search of the 12 essences, and having 4 essences would make the plot too short. Also, having light and darkness creating two other elements would make the plot too complicated and confusing.

@Ktmhld Factions are going to be placed in-game eventually, but it will not be soon at all. You will only be able to be in one faction at a time.While in a faction leaders guild if you are doing something inappropriate they will have the right to mute you while you are in there guild map/area.If they begin to use it inappropriately the feature will be removed for that specific guild leader.
